Rob Deacon spotted the potential of little known East German DJ Paul Van Dyk and introduced him and his music to the UK. The phenomenon that followed allowed Deviant to develop into a premier UK trance label, licensing leading European talent including Members of Mayday, Blank & Jones, DJ Sammy and Humate. UK artists included Ashtrax, Animated and Spooky.
