Neo Records was a highly respected British independent dance label. Set up by Eddie Gordon in 1998, Neo enjoyed five years of international success with hits such as "Sandstorm" - Darude, "Nervous Breakdown" – The Shrink, "Diving Faces" – Liquid Child and "Synaesthesia" – Thrillseekers.
Unusually for such a trance-orientated label, Neo also signed and developed artists – most notably Olmec Heads and Rhythm Masters. The latter had European and American success with "Ghetto" and "Underground" from the album "Disconnect Your Head".
Label highlights include: Darude’s artist album "Before The Storm"; the best of the label’s trance on "I Love Trance" compilation; and the excellent house "Retro" series.
