Produced during the pandemic with approval from Morales himself, Jonas Blue has refreshed this timeless classic with new beats and a thumping bassline, while still retaining the true essence of the original. Having started to play his remix out to worldwide audiences and receiving an unprecedented reaction, the story of this remix somewhat parallels that of the original. Back in the 90s, Morales never intended to release his early rendition of 'Needin' U'. But following a huge reaction, it was dropped on Azuli Records and reached No. 8 in the UK singles chart and No. 1 in the Billboard Dance charts.
Speaking about his decision to remix such an almighty anthem, Jonas Blue said:

I always wanted to remix his track 'Needin’ U' and after the pandemic and with the world starting to return to the clubs and dance scene it felt like the right time to bring a fresh take on this monster of a dance floor classic.
