We’re excited to welcome Hector Who Lived to the PMI Publishing + One Stop roster.

Based in Bristol, Hector Who Lived is a solo project blending underground funk, indie-pop, and electronic music with infectious grooves and distinctive, playful hooks. Built on a strong DIY ethos, the project combines funk-infused basslines, electronic textures, and self-aware lyricism, often incorporating nostalgic samples drawn from old video games.

The project was launched during the first COVID-19 lockdown by musician and producer Miles, with debut single “Monkey” arriving in 2021. Since then, Hector Who Lived has become a familiar presence on the Bristol live scene, releasing a run of vibrant, character-driven records including the EPs Moving Out and BUG.

With a sound that feels modern, energetic, and unmistakably individual, Hector Who Lived is perfect for placements that need energy, character, and a modern edge. From youth-focused campaigns to bold visual storytelling.
