John Carnell’s 20 years’ music industry experience started with artist management of high-profile dance acts Sunscreem and Public Domain who both enjoyed international success. He subsequently founded and managed a number of independent record labels including the leading UK trance label Bonzai and the seminal breaks label Acetate. He co-founded PMI in 2005 and continues to lead and grow the company, maintaining the core values of Phoenix Music International - thorough monetisation of rights and payment of royalties to artists and other stakeholders.
